I did the Piyo workouts and at age 53, no previous exercise “habit”, three rods running down my spine since age 14, 9 screws in 3 bottom vertebrae from surgery 4 years ago, all stemming from mildly severe scoliosis, I FINISHED!! I LIVED!! ha! surprised my self bigtime. Ok – I 100% agree with Beachologies warning with using this program with any back issues but, anyone knows that with any issues we learn how to modify everything in order to function. I needed to do something to get back to the feeling of living . (Thank you Nikki) I still modify the modified version, and I don’t look pretty doing it, I struggle with the sitting on floor exercises, I have a weak side, I still shake, I don’t transition from standing to the floor well BUT i am able to sit crosslegged on my couch for the first time in forever, I lost 7 pounds, I am less achy in my joints, and , not that I’m vain but lets get real anyone would love to get complimented – I was told I still looked young yesterday!! (this is huge for me -as I was getting depressed having people ask me what was wrong, are you not feeling well? are you in pain? I was fine but achy and uncomfortable shows up in our faces!) I plan to stick with this program. It’s good for me mentally and physically. I will continue to be careful and to modify until I get stronger , I AM getting stronger and that is so welcomed!
I did my final weigh in this morning! I am down 7 pounds! Never thought I’d see that number on the scale! I am also down 5 whole inches in my waist! I love clean eating. It is now how I think and plan meals. I am so glad I had this group to hold me accountable! Looking forward to next month!
I am down a total of 7 inches and 5.6 pounds in this 21 day period. All together I have lost just over 17 pounds since June 15th.

Since July 1st I am down 13lbs, do not go to bed regretting my nutrition decisions for the day and rarely have craving for junk. My skin is clearer and mood is calmer. I love being a healthy role model for my family and can not see myself returning to my old habits. This program helped me to take that first step and I couldn’t be prouder of myself!

As embarrassing as it is here are pictures from my sons birthday in June on the left. On the right is this morning!! I’m down 23 lbs all together and almost 20 inches ! It’s insane what a little work out, no soda and no fast food can do for you! And trust me I’m not done!

I truly loved this workout. I got my kit late, so I didn’t follow the nutrition plan as I should have, but I will the next round because the results amazed me, so imagine if the nutrition was under control. My results aren’t super dramatic, but I made progress in much more than my body. Down 4.5 lbs, 2.5 inches, mostly in my waist. My thoughts about myself changed, I realized I am stronger than I ever thought I was and I can lose weight. I had lost hope that I would ever lose any weight. I spent the summer getting up early, walking 3 miles a day, watching my diet somewhat and still nothing. This was 3 weeks. I did more in 3 weeks than in 9 years since my last child. Combined with a very supportive coach and group of women on the same journey, I would call this a success!

Alas the ‘final weigh -in’. I am down 4 pounds and just did the waist measurement this am and down 3 1/8 inches from my waist. I am more flexible..i feel better not eating junk food and feel crappy when I do. I will continue with the containers from here on out just as a guideline to keep my portions in check. I can’t thank Nikki Reed enough for inviting me along this journey and have enjoyed seeing everybody elses posts of encouragement every day. I wish all of you the best.

1. What did you not like about yourself that made you look to Nikki’s Challenge group/T25?
I have been working out anywhere from 4-6 days a week for 1-2 hours at my local gym for years with little to no visible results. I wanted to lose fat and see some definition.
What changes did you see after the 10 week program?
I started getting frustrated at not seeing any results after 4 weeks. I knew it had to be working due to the pool of sweat that I left every day on the floor. After week 5, I started getting compliments from my family about how I lost my belly.
What changes did you see at work with a fitter body?
I took almost a minute off my obstacle course time (*SWAT *). In addition, whereas in the past I always felt like I was going to die after the course, my recovery time was almost immediate.
What would you say is the best part of being held accountable by a coach vice ordering T25 off an infomercial with no support?
My coach was always there for me. Always sending me information on good eating, and ways to maximize the program.
What was the best part of being in an online, private FB group?
It was nice to have people just like me starting at the same point. Unlike walking into a Yoga class and being intimidated by everyone around you being able to do all the moves with little to no difficulty.
What does your wife think of the new Pal? I enjoy having my wife constantly rubbing my pecs and the extra attention I have been getting 😉
What is your next step in fitness and nutrition? Will you continue with Beachbody programs and Shakeology?
I have purchased the Gamma discs and will be re-starting the entire program and incorporating Gamma this time.
My results: I lost an additional 4 lbs this week and another 3″ so my total loss over 20 days was 8 lbs and 21 5/8″ over my whole body!! I am absolutely SHOCKED at my results!! While they aren’t really noticeably visible (to me anyway) they are apparently being noticed by others! Comments saying my face is looking thinner, I seem to be happier/have more energy than usual, etc. I love it!! I personally FEEL the difference more than see it. My clothes are definitely looser than when I started. Best news…my results have got my husband interested in trying (a modified) version of the 21DF with me in January!!!
I’ve lost 8 lbs and 8 inches. I’m pretty happy about that. My clothes fit better. I actually feel stronger and more flexible. I want to keep going!! Gotta a ways to go!!
Its been a great month! Lost 9 pounds and 15 inches! Wish my daughter knew how to take pics and since I don’t have a mirror to use I’ll have to wait til I see my friend tomorrow

Chest down 2.5 in, waist down 2.5 in, hips down 3 in, arms down 1 in each, no change in thighs or calves.

I was extremely discouraged yesterday and wasn’t sure if I would have the will to continue but Im happy to say that today is a new day! This morning I felt strong during my workout and I am really enjoying my yummy shake this morning. Im confident with my meal plan and know that if I stick to it, it won’t fail me. So, all that to say, Im prepared to continue with this routine. I never imagined waking myself up every morning to work out. And now, its something I look forward to. Who’d a thunk!?!
I doubted that it would work…I have tried everything and nothing has worked except those wonder pills that were not healthy and are now banned (miss you ephedra ) it is hard, I won’t lie but I have never felt better, besides this flu thing, and I am losing…maybe not pounds but inches and actually working out! Heck ya I am sticking with it!

I am so pleased with these results! I still have a long ways to go to get the body I truly want, but I am so proud of myself and all of you for changing our lifestyles for 21 days! We just started a habit ladies so let’s keep it up beyond this group!
Yoga felt sooooo good today after a tough week both physically and emotionally! I lost 5 lbs!

What did you not like about yourself that made you look to Nikki’s Challenge group:Seeing 190lbs on the scale and generally feeling blah most of the time
What changes did you see after the 10 week program? A lot! Dropped a couple pant sizes and 14 lbs. Generally feeling more energetic. Added 2 inches to vertical leap, went from 3 pullups to 10 and pushups from 35 to 48. Flexibility has also improved – can reach 7 inches past my toes now when sitting instead of 4.
What changes did you see at work with a fitter body? The ladies have made a few comments, but that could also be because I’m the boss 😉
What has Shakeology done for you? How does it make you feel? Had to back off to once every other day but have found it makes me feel fuller in the morning and seems to give me more energy throughout the morning.
What would you say is the best part of being held accountable by a coach versus ordering T25 off an infomercial with no support? It was good knowing I would have to ‘answer’ to somebody besides myself at the end of the 90 days
What was the best part of being in an online, private FB group? The support we would give each other was nice and being able to share struggles and successes was helpful.

What is your next step in fitness and nutrition? Will you continue with Beachbody programs and Shakeology? I do intend to continue with shakeology and beachbody – not sure if I will do another round of p90x or p90x3 or a different program next. Still unwinding from my half marathon and haven’t gotten back into the full workout routine yet. Need to soon though!!
